Born in 1982, I live in Athens, Greece; currently studying linguistics at the University of Athens and Fine Art & Technology at AKTO. I read, listen to music, try to cope with a buzzing mind and constantly hunt down the concepts and images that rush through it before they evaporate.

I suppose it started with drawing, which I began to take more seriously in late 1999. Since then I've gone through various (mostly overlapping) stages and phases, sometimes focusing more on drawing, photomanipulation, digital and traditional painting, or photography. What can be said with certainty is that I am still learning -- which partly explains the diversity in my work.
As for the dominant surrealist themes; one very nice answer is that they derive from dreams and daydreams, scenes that appear and re-appear when I close my eyes. A more reasonable answer would be, perhaps, that when I was little, I was exposed to too many fanstasy/sci-fi novels, adventure games, Dalí's work as well as various illustrations of D&D handbooks :P. One can never really tell which one weighs more in the long run.

Photoshop 7 (occasionally Painter 8), pencils, acrylics, oils, pen & ink, occasionally gouache, cameras: an analogue Canon EOS 5000 and a digital Sony DSC F-717.
